Shorten colds & strengthen the immune system with

baptisia, echinacea & thuja

  • Two types of Echinacea (coneflower)
    purple & pale coneflower
  • Baptisia (wild indigo)
  • Thuja (arborvitae)

Modern research shows: Certain herbal active substances have the ability to act specifically against viruses that cause colds in the human body while also strengthening the body's own immune system.

Three of these natural helpers against cold symptoms are used in different dosages in Esberitox® COMPACT and Esberitox®. These cold remedies thus work in 3 ways at once with their herbal active substances from baptisia, echinacea and thuja.

The effect: Viruses can be combated more quickly and effectively, the immune system is strengthened and colds are therefore milder and much shorter.1,2

The Esberitox® active immune complex:

Activates the immune system with a triple herbal action when you have a cold

Starting to come down with a cold? Then help is at hand with the herbal power combination made from baptisia, echinacea and thuja. Because these three plants have important ingredients that simply put a stop to colds.

How does it work? It's simple:

Echinacea (coneflower)

activates the body's own germ-destroying scavenger cells and has an antiviral effect*

Originally native to North America, echinacea is now also cultivated in Europe. It is the dried or fresh roots that are used for medicinal purposes. These contain polysaccharides, glycoproteins and caffeic acid derivatives, for example.

To fight off harmful germs like the ones that cause colds, our body uses "scavenger cells" which destroy the germs. Scientific research shows that echinacea activates these scavenger cells (macrophages) to destroy the germs and also acts directly against the invading viruses.

When you have a cold, echinacea (coneflower) activates germ-destroying scavenger cells and has an antiviral effect.

When you have a flu-like infection, baptisia (wild indigo) activates B cells, thereby speeding up the production of antibodies.

Baptisia (wild indigo)

speeds up antibody production*

This member of the legume family is native to North America. Besides many other compounds, the plants contain polysaccharides and glycoproteins.

It is the dried roots that are used. Thanks to extensive research, we know that baptisia activates B cells and speeds up the production of antibodies.

The more antibodies you can produce and the faster you can produce them, the faster you will get over your cold.

Thuja (arborvitae)

boosts the cells of immune cell messenger substances in the body

The healing power of this evergreen member of the cypress family was historically prized by the indigenous peoples of North America. The powers of arborvitae ("tree of life") are brought to bear as the third line of defence against the causes of colds. It is the dried tips and leaves of one- to two-year-old shoots that are used.

They act directly against cold viruses and boost the production of immune cell messenger substances in the body. The key active substances of thuja are polysaccharides and glycoproteins.

Thuja has its direct effects against invading viruses to thank for its use in modern medicine.

When you have a cold, taking thuja (arborvitae) increases the levels of immune cell messenger substances in the body.
